What is Metaphysics?
Metaphysics is a branch of philosophy that looks beyond the physical, material world for guidance and knowledge. We strive to learn about our connectedness to the Universal Intelligence as well as our connection with all other beings. We believe in a Universal Energy in which we are all a part.
We believe that this Universal Consciousness, or God, resides in the deeper levels of the human mind and is not only a continuous, intuitive guide, but also contains all Knowledge that ever was, is or will be.
By connecting to this Source through meditation, we can achieve higher states of consciousness that will guide us in improving our every day lives.
Everything you need to reach your greatest potential is within you. Tapping that amazing resource within is a main goal in metaphysics.
Metaphysics follows the unchangeable laws of nature, including the Law of Cause and Effect.
We also believe that humans are a field of energy. We are telepathic. We communicate on frequencies that are ruled by the electromagnetic fields of thought and emotion.
There are many disciplines under the header of metaphysics, including mysticism, meditation, Jungian psychology, positive thinking and more. A few of the subjects that I put my attention on are:
Mystical meditation, also known as contemplation, transcendental meditation or centering prayer, which connects one to their Inner Guide. This is your Creator and you co-create your life in partnership with this Best Friend.
I also focus on self programming through positive affirmations and the removal of negative conditioning in the subconscious mind.
And last but not least, I practice scientific prayer. Made popular through the New Thought Movement, this type of prayer is powerful beyond belief.
You can heal yourself and bring about change in your life in an unlimited number of categories by becoming proficient in these 3 disciplines.
Metaphysics, for me, is a lifestyle that balances mind, body and spirit through guidance from intuition rather than guidance from the intellect. I call it SPIRITUAL PSYCHOLOGY.
