Stress...what is it? I would say it is a mental and emotional state that affects your overall health in a negative way. Did you know that stress can disable the body's ability to optimally heal itself? And that the body can only heal when it is in a relaxed state? And that emotional
dis-ease can turn into physical disease? And according to Dr. David Hawkins' studies on kinesiology, the level of conscious awareness of the mind is 5 times that of the physical body. Therefore, the body will obey a belief held in the mind. So what you believe yourself to be in your thoughts will likely manifest. And what about your soul, or spirit?
MIND, BODY, SPIRIT in balance makes one whole, or holistically healthy.
This page is a brief synopsis of holistic living verses taking synthetic drugs at the first sign of an ache or pain. I do believe western medicine is good and even miraculous in some cases. But I also believe that modern society has been conditioned to forget the power of the human mind, immune system and now more prevalent than ever, the new proof that the health of the microbiome is the key to great health. Sayer Ji says, "The pathogen is nothing. The terrain is everything."  Nourish your body, mind and soul (your terrain) and no pathogen will want to hang around.

Deepak Chopra states that your state of mind can turn poison into nectar. In other words, if you were to eat something toxic, experiencing happiness could convert poison into a different metabolic pathway.  Our DNA can be changed through positive emotions. Genetic experiments reveal that DNA is connected to our energy field.
The basis of this website is spiritual psychology, the psychology part teaching you how to reprogram your subconscious mind by removing negative thought patterns and replacing them with positive ones that reflect the life you desire to live. The words "I AM" used in a sentence are a direct command to your subconscious mind. Learning to master your thoughts, aka, your mind, is crucial to your holistic health.

Doctors like Peter Glidden and Kevin Campbell, as well as a study from the John Hopkins University suggest that medical directed treatment/error is the 3rd cause of death in America (heart disease and cancer 1 and 2). With this in mind, if you also read the "1910 Crucifixion" below, you may want to stay as healthy as possible by educating yourself on whole foods as medicine, herbs and supplements for everyday health as well as your personal health shortcomings, exercise and the benefits of sunshine. Your genetic makeup can be altered through your lifestyle. Instead of saying, "It runs in my family," consider saying, "How can I improve my health and beat those odds?!" I believe there are great doctors out there and we sometimes need them. Taking an active role in educating ourselves is vital if you want to need them less.

Physicists, Brian Cox, explains the human soul as a kind of energy not yet found or understood in physics that interacts with matter. It is hard for science to accept anything it cannot fully explain. The mind and the soul can neither be seen nor explained. In metaphysics, we believe that humans are a field of energy and that energy cannot be created or destroyed; therefore, when the body takes its last breath, the soul (energy) may be leaving the body. The soul may be the part of you that is connected to everyone and everything else as part of One Universal Consciousness. The mystery of life is beautiful to me...always an uncertainty and a striving to learn and grow close to this Presence that cannot be explained. We in metaphysics believe that all the Knowledge that ever was, is or will be is contained in this One Mind and I think it's possible that this information is encoded in our DNA and accessed through meditation. Is God in our DNA? Hmmmm....

Like thoughts, emotions are electromagnetic fields that broadcast out of us on the frequency they are associated with. A negative emotion will broadcast out on a low frequency and a positive emotion on a high frequency. What we broadcast out returns to us like-kind and can affect us on a cellular level. Emotions are said to be WAY STRONGER than thoughts.
Emotions must be expressed. Don't bury them deep inside or deny them. Deepak Chopra says repressed emotions can turn physical. Anger can turn into inflammation. Depression and guilt can turn into cancer. Do express your emotions, good and bad. Do let go of resentments. They will fester inside of you and harm you for sure. Let it go!

The 1910 Crucifixion of Holistic Medicine

This is the Abraham Flexner report of 1910. (Copied from

In the early half of the 20th century, a coup was organized on the medical research facilities, hospitals and universities. The Rockefeller family, ye ole step-n-fetch-its of the actual slavemasters, sponsored research and donated sums to universities and medical schools which had drug based research. Establishments and research which were were not drug based were refused funding and soon dissolved in favor of the lucrative pharmaceutical industry.

The Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research was founded in 1901. Simon Flexner headed the Rockefeller Institute of Medical Research. Simon Flexner appointed his brother, Abraham Flexner, to survey medical schools throughout America.

Abraham Flexner was empowered to investigate the quality of medical education in all 161 medical schools that existed in 1910. He helped destroy the credibility and funding sources for nearly all schools using non-drug based medicine. 161 medical schools dwindled down to 81 by 1919 and medical graduates declined from 5,747 to 2,658. "Overcrowding" of the profession became the public AMA theme for the "opportunities of those already in the profession to acquire a livelihood." said one AMA President at the time.

The AMA also practiced severe discrimination against black medical schools and black doctors. They did not apologize for this for over 150 years, until July 2008. (Exploring the AMA's History of Discrimination, 2008)
